AQUALIS COATINGS – EXTERIOR PROTECTION

THE AQUALIS RANGE WILL IMPRESS YOU WITH IT’S RESISTANCE TO WEATHERING AND EASE OF APPLICATION

Can you believe it’s time to recoat your deck again? But does it feel like you did that only 6 months ago? Don’t you wish there was a more durable decking oil on the market?

Wouldn’t it make life easier if it could be applied in a greater range of weather conditions too, not having to worry that it is drying too quickly or on the other hand not worrying that it isn’t going to dry because rain is forecast for the following day?

Not too Heavy, Not too Light, applying H2oil

Drew Kemp, Technical Manager at Superior Timber Coatings gives his advice on best applying The Aqualis H2Oil range:

“You need to ensure the oil is worked into the surface, particularly on the first coat.  After sanding, clean up the surface and apply the first coat with a brush or roller.  H2Oil goes a long way so don’t lay it on too thick. Instead wipe excess with a rag but try to work the oil into the surface of the timber”.

“You have a minimum time of an hour to dry before recoating.  Again, follow the process of rolling or brushing the oil and then removing any excess with a rag”.
