Maintaining Your Hard Wax Oiled Surfaces Easy Tips for Tradespeople

As a tradesperson, you understand the value of quality craftsmanship and the need for long-lasting solutions. Hard wax oiled surfaces, whether they’re on floors, stairs, or furniture, can bring a touch of elegance to your projects. To keep these surfaces looking their best, regular care and maintenance are crucial. Here’s a straightforward guide on how to care for your hard wax oiled surfaces:

Daily Dry Cleaning:

Start your maintenance routine with a daily dry clean. Use a broom or a vacuum cleaner to remove loose dirt and dust. These particles can act like sandpaper, potentially causing fine scratches. Taking a few minutes for this quick clean will go a long way in preserving the beauty of your hard wax oiled surfac

Regular Wet Cleaning:

For a more thorough clean, opt for a wet cleaning routine. “OLI-NATURA Wood Soap” is your ideal companion for this task. It’s specially designed for oiled surfaces, ensuring quick cleanliness without harming the wood. Mix it at a ratio of 1:200 with lukewarm water and wipe the surface. Let it dry, and you’re done.

Restorative Treatment and Maintenance:

  • Every once in a while, your hard wax oiled surfaces deserve some extra love. This helps renew their protective qualities and takes care of minor scratches.
  • For surfaces previously treated with hard wax oil, use “OLI-NATURA Wood Care Wax.” For oiled wood, opt for “OLI-NATURA Wood Care Oil.” You can treat the entire surface or focus on specific areas.
  • After such a treatment, you’ll notice that the wood becomes anti-static, attracting less dust.
