Application Instructions:
- For Clear Finishes:
- Apply one coat of Precat Sealer and allow to cure for 1 hour at room temperature.
- Lightly sand with 320-400 grit paper and recoat with Intelac topcoat to achieve the desired gloss level.
- For additional coats, allow 2 hours of curing and repeat step 2.
- For Stained Finishes:
- Apply the desired stain and allow it to dry as recommended.
- Apply one coat of Precat Sealer and allow to cure for 1 hour at room temperature.
- Sand with 320-400 grit paper and recoat with Intelac to achieve the desired gloss level.
- For additional coats, allow 2 hours of curing and repeat step 3.
Precautions:
- Avoid applying excessively thick coats to prevent film defects and cracking.
- Nitrocellulose lacquers may yellow over time.
- Clear lacquer films will not protect timber from UV light-induced discoloration or degradation.
- Not recommended for vanity or kitchen bench-tops continuously exposed to water or high humidity; use two-component chemically resistant coatings in such conditions.
