Aqualis Composite Bright, a water-based treatment designed to keep composite wood surfaces, such as decks, stairs, handrails, and furniture, looking fresh and clean.
This product serves as both a conditioner and brightener, effectively removing dirt, grime, tree sap, food stains, oil, and minor oxidative degradation from composite surfaces. It’s particularly useful for cleaning oil and grease from BBQs and concrete around the house.
Application:
- Extreme: For severe dirt, grime, heavy oxidation, BBQ stains, or tree sap buildup, dilute 1 part Composite Bright to 4 parts water. Pre-wet the surface, apply the mixture using a mop or spray, allow it to soak for 2-3 minutes (or 5-10 minutes for stubborn stains), scrub with a stiff broom or mechanical agitator, and thoroughly rinse off with water.
- Moderate: For moderate cleaning needs, dilute 1 part Composite Bright to 8 parts water, and follow the same application steps as above.
- Light: For general cleaning and upkeep, dilute 1 part Composite Bright to 10 parts water, and apply as described above.
- Coated Composite: For surfaces with a coating, dilute 1 part Composite Bright to 20 parts water. Pre-wet the surface, apply the mixture using a mop or spray, allow it to soak for 2-3 minutes (or 5-10 minutes for stubborn stains), scrub gently with a soft bristle broom, and thoroughly rinse off with water.
Maintenance:
It’s recommended to treat composite wood with Composite Bright every 3 to 6 months, depending on the location and density of surrounding trees and native wildlife. Areas exposed to heavy soiling may require more frequent treatment to maintain a natural appearance. For enhanced protection against stains and fungal growth, consider using Aqualis Composite Sealer.
