Ilva Polyurethane Satin Hardener (TXS521)

Description

ILVA TXS521 is a professional polyurethane hardener formulated for use with compatible ILVA two-pack polyurethane coating systems. Designed for professional timber finishing applications, it provides the chemical reaction required for the coating to cure and achieve its intended performance.

Suitable for use across a wide range of interior timber applications, TXS521 is commonly used with furniture, cabinetry, joinery, benchtops and other interior timber surfaces where high-performance polyurethane finishes are required.

To achieve consistent results, always follow the recommended mixing ratios and application instructions for the compatible ILVA coating system.

Recommended Application Conditions

For best results:

• Ambient temperature: 18–22°C
• Relative humidity: 65–70%
• Timber moisture content: 8–14%

Application & Storage

For reliable curing and finish quality:

• Do not apply below 15°C or above 30°C
• Drying should not occur below 15°C
• Maintain 50–70% relative humidity during drying
• Store indoors between 0°C and 35°C
• Protect from direct sunlight
• Shake thoroughly before use and after mixing with other components
• Use suitable polyethylene or stainless steel containers when decanting
• Reseal the container immediately after use
