APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS -
Surface Preparation:
-
Ensure timber is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, and contaminants.

Sand evenly along the grain to a fine finish (P150–P220).

Remove sanding residue thoroughly before coating.
-
Timber moisture content should be between 8–14%.
Mixing & Thinning:
-
Product is supplied ready for use.
-
If required, dilute with up to 5% clean water to adjust viscosity for local conditions or application method.
-
Stir well before and during use to maintain consistency.
Application Methods:
-
Spray: Apply 80–100 g/m² per coat (approx. 3.1–3.9 wet mils).
-
Brush: Apply 60–80 g/m² per coat (approx. 2.3–3.1 wet mils).
-
Suitable for roller, spray, or brush application depending on project requirements.
-
Apply 2–3 coats for best exterior durability and protection.
Drying Times (at 20°C / 65% RH):

Touch dry: 30–40 minutes
-
Sandable: 1.5–2 hours
-
Recoat: 2–3 hours
-
Full cure: 24–48 hours depending on conditions
Recommended Film Build:

Wet film: Approx. 150 microns per coat (5.9 wet mils)
-
Dry film: Approx. 40–45 microns per coat
Environmental Conditions:

Apply in a clean, dust-free area.
-
Ambient temperature: 15–30°C
-
Relative humidity: 50–70%
-
Avoid application in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces.
Clean-Up:
-
Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with warm water.
-
Do not allow product to dry in spray guns or lines.
Important Notes:

Always test on a sample board before full application.
-
Ensure each coat is fully dry before overcoating.
-
Avoid excessive film build; multiple light coats are preferable to one heavy coat.
