Ilva TXW13 is a water-based hardener formulated for Ilva polyurethane and acrylic coating systems. It enhances coating strength, resistance, and durability while maintaining a low VOC profile.

Ilva TXW13 is a water-based polyisocyanate hardener designed to crosslink and strengthen Ilva waterborne polyurethane and acrylic coating systems. It increases chemical and mechanical resistance, improves hardness, and enhances durability without significantly affecting gloss or clarity.

TXW13 provides excellent compatibility with Ilva’s range of water-based clear and pigmented coatings, making it suitable for interior applications where low VOC content and strong performance are required.


Usage Instructions

  • Stir gently before use.

  • Add TXW13 to the selected Ilva water-based coating at the ratio specified in the product’s TDS (commonly 5–10% by weight, depending on system).

  • Mix thoroughly to ensure complete dispersion.

  • Allow 10–15 minutes induction time before application when recommended.

  • Apply coating by spray, roller, or brush as directed in the system data sheet.

  • Pot life: approximately 1–2 hours once mixed, depending on temperature and humidity.

  • Clean tools immediately after use with water.
