Ilva TW18 is a clear water-based self-sealer formulated for professional use on timber and engineered wood substrates. It is designed for both light and dark hardwoods, non-resinous softwoods, and fine-line or reconstituted veneers.
TW18 combines the properties of a sealer and topcoat in one product, reducing application time while maintaining excellent clarity, sanding performance, and durability. It delivers a smooth, natural finish with fast drying and low odour, making it suitable for interior furniture, panels, and joinery.
The coating can be used as a single-component (1K) system or as a two-component (2K) system when catalysed with Ilva TXW11 water-based hardener for enhanced chemical and mechanical resistance.
