When using professional coatings, the final result depends on more than just the quality of the product. For best results, keep the following in mind:
1. General Considerations
-
The finish depends on many variables, including:
-
Environmental conditions
-
The condition and consistency of the substrate
-
Application method and technique
-
Equipment setup
-
Correct use and preparation of the product
-
-
In professional and industrial settings, some product waste is expected and not a sign of product fault.
-
Colour and appearance may vary based on substrate type, prep work, and application conditions. Always test first to confirm the result is suitable for your needs.
2. Product Responsibility
-
We stand by the chemical and physical specifications listed on the product’s Technical Data Sheet.
-
If the product doesn’t meet the declared specs, we will replace it.
-
However, we can’t be responsible for the final finish, as we have no control over how the product is applied or the conditions on site.
3. Recommended Application Conditions
-
Ambient temperature: 18–22°C
-
Ambient relative humidity: 65–70%
-
Substrate moisture content: 8–14%
4. Storage & Handling
-
Solvent-based products should be stored indoors between 0°C and 35°C, away from direct sunlight, in a ventilated area.
-
Always shake or mix thoroughly before use — especially when combining with hardeners, thinners, or additives.
-
Application and drying should not occur below 15°C or above 30°C.
-
Relative humidity during drying should be between 50–70%.
-
Use only appropriate containers (polyethylene or stainless steel) for decanting.
-
Reseal containers tightly after each use.
5. User Responsibility
It’s up to the user to:
-
Follow all conditions outlined above.
-
Ensure the product is fit for their intended use and environmental conditions.
-
Use spark-proof equipment for solvent-based products.
-
Avoid smoking during use.
-
Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements, including the Safety Data Sheet.
